Jackie Mossakowski Master of Counseling Field Practicum Student
I believe we are born with the tools to facilitate growth, though sometimes we may need support in accessing them. Counseling allows individuals to feel empowered to share their stories and explore strategies to confront life’s challenges in a supportive environment. I am passionate about creating a space free of judgment and welcoming to all, meeting clients where they are, and collaboratively working towards growth and learning. I strongly believe in the power of vulnerability, resilience, and authenticity to create change and healing as we partner in reaching counseling goals.
Therapy has been an integral part of my personal development. I am deeply familiar with trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and other issues that impact our lives. It is my goal that each client feels genuinely seen in consistent safety where connection, vulnerability, and reflection flow freely. With the support and supervision of Shannon Higgins, M.A., LPC-Supervisor, I am excited to begin this journey as a Practicum Graduate Student. I am eager to put my education to practice while expanding my knowledge and experience to support each client with an approach that works for them.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, watching reality TV, and listening to live music on any patio.
Starting in November, Jackie will be taking clients as a practicum student free of charge under the supervision of Shannon Higgins, M.A., LPC-Supervisor. Please contact Rebecca at 318-932-1463.
